Charles Case

Charles Case served as colonel of the 129th Indiana Infantry Regiment, organized at Kendallville and Michigan City, Indiana, and mustered in on March 1, 1864. He led the regiment at its formation before resigning his commission on June 1, 1864, and was succeeded by Colonel Charles A. Zollinger. The regiment went on to serve through the Atlanta and Carolinas campaigns.
